If I have 2 programs up side by side and want to copy a line of code back over to the one on the left, I had the impression that I could click on it and then click on the left side and it would move.

I am able to click CO and then beginning line, ending line and then click the line that I want it to go after on the left but I seem to remember that you improved that.

You may be mixing up a couple of functions. To do any side to side movement/copying you first have to give it a command, either by typing it or clicking on a programmable button. Then click on right then left. If two lines are clicked on right, it takes the range, if one, only one line is moved or copied.

The function you may have mixed up is this. If you right click on a line, it is placed into the recorded keys buffer. If anything is in the recorded keys buffer, right clicking on a line number (either side) will insert the buffer following the line number you clicked. It can be used to copy side to side, but really is a copy and paste. Plus it only works on one line at a time.
