Search Rules
Rules for Searching:
(1) Can be "phrases surrounded by double quotes" exact phrase must be present
(2) Can be words separated by commas or spaces. Any word hit will be included
(3) For individual posters, enter 'poster postername' quotes around name force exact match
(4) For words in a subject, enter 'subject word1 word2...' quotes around word(s) force exact match
(5) For specific posts enter 'post postnbr1 postnbr2...'
(6) Searches that use the double quote
take longer, as each possible hit is searched for an exact match.

The search is not case sensitive
(8) The search will only return fifty hits at a time. To continue, hit the continue button on the results screen.
(9) Checking a box will remove it from subsequent Re-searches.
(10) If your search returns too many items, your browser may time out. If that happens, search for a narrower topic, then use the Re-search feature to narrow down the results.
